  15.      _F_m_t is a simple text formatter which reads the concatenation of input
  16.      files (or standard input if none are given) and produces on standard
  17.      output a version of its input with lines as close to _w_i_d_t_h characters
  18.      long as possible.  The spacing at the beginning of the input lines is
  19.      preserved in the output, as are blank lines and interword spacing.  The
  20.      default _w_i_d_t_h is 72 characters.

  22.      _F_m_t is meant to format mail messages prior to sending, but may also be
  23.      useful for other simple tasks.  For instance, within visual mode of the
  24.      _e_x editor (e.g.  _v_i) the command
  25.           !}fmt
  26.      will reformat a paragraph, justifying the lines.
